Food for Profit will take you step-by-step through the entrepreneurial process. This one-day overview will provide the information and skills to assess if your idea has the potential to generate profitable sales. Conducting a feasibility study (to see if yours is a good business idea), performing marketing research, and drafting a business plan are a few of the concrete tools offered in this class. In addition, sanitarians will explain in detail, what is needed to create safe, legal food products in Pennsylvania.
By attending this class, you can learn how to evaluate the opportunities on paper before you look for funding or take action (saving money and time).
Day includes tour of The Lancaster Edibles Venture Kitchen - a local commercial kitchen available for your use. Start your business sooner than later!
